With Christmas falling on a Monday this year, the fourth Sunday of Advent will be celebrated on Sunday, December 24.

Fourth Sunday of Advent Mass times:

  • Saturday, December 23: 4:30 pm
  • Sunday, December 24: 8 am, 9:30, 11:15

Christmas Mass times:

  • Sunday, December 24: 3:30 pm, 6, 8, 10
  • Monday, December 25: 9 am

Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God Mass times (not a holy day of obligation this year):

  • Sunday, December 31: 5:30 pm
  • Monday, January 1: 9 am

The fourth Sunday of Advent and Christmas are two separate liturgical obligations. Sunday morning doesn't "count" for Christmas, nor does Christmas "count" for Sunday.

We want to make all people feel welcome at our Christmas Masses, and the easiest way to do this is by not saving seats for latecomers. In the past, it could be difficult finding a place to sit because of the high number of seats being saved. Hospitality is one of the four pillars of St. Francis of Assisi, and we want to make sure that all Mass attendees feel welcomed in our faith community.
