Bo has taught at Newman, Wichita State, Tulsa, and Oklahoma State Universities. He became Catholic in the midst of Protestant Seminary at Duke Divinity School and was received into full communion of the Catholic Church at Easter, 2006.
Bo co-hosts, The UnCommon Good, a weekly radio show with Dr. Bud Marr, a show about the common good (which is an uncommon topic--get it?), the social teaching of the Church, servant leadership, and the social reign of Jesus Christ. The show airs at 10am and 10pm on Iowa Catholic Radio.
He is a Benedictine Oblate at Our Lady of Clear Creek Monastery in Oklahoma, choosing the oblate name "Odo" out of respect for the Cluniac vision of the Benedictine Life and the Civilization of Christendom in general.
He and his wife Robyn have been married well over a decade, and they have four children: Elias, Stella, Antonia and Finnian…and a fifth baby on the way! Bo was born on the feast of St. Blaise, the patron of throats, and he has not stopped talking since.
