It has long been the belief at St. Francis that toddlers and young children are always welcome to stay with their families during Mass. The article below offers a point of view why we should welcome the presence of the youngest at Mass – even if they may sometimes be noisy.
Why Toddlers Need the Real Presence of Jesus
That being said, St. Francis does offer different services for families with young children on Sunday mornings:
Nursing Room: A place for nursing moms and babies during all Sunday masses in the Assisi Room (located in the north hallway).
Nursery: Childcare for children ages birth to 3 during the 9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. masses in the Nursery Room (located in the north hallway). For more information and registration, contact Rebecca Bahl.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word: Sunday liturgy for children ages 4-10 on the first and third Sunday of the month during the 9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. masses with dismissal during Mass. For more information, contact Jill Klubek Alonzo.
