This week, I’d like to share an update on our High School Youth Ministry program. Since late August, I have been serving as the interim coordinator and director for both the High School Youth Ministry and the 2023-24 Confirmation program, while also overseeing the 2024-25 class formation.

Our Wednesday night High School program, FISH (Fellowship in Spirit with Him), is open to all high school students. Each week, we focus on different aspects such as prayer, catechesis, service, issue-based discussions, and social nights to create a comprehensive youth ministry experience. We’re excited to share that attendance has been strong, averaging 35-40 students each week!
The first Wednesday of each month is designated as a Catechetical Night, which includes preparation for 9th-grade Confirmation in a small group format. These sessions are beneficial for all high school students, emphasizing our belief that “we are all invited to the table.”

Parents, please encourage your children to join us. As we approach the holiday season, we’re planning some fantastic opportunities for our youth. Parish community, your continued prayers and support are greatly appreciated. Let us remember to be Christ to everyone and see Christ in everyone.
