Family Formation (Preschool- Grade 6)
Family Formation is a family-based catechetical program that helps families grow in the transforming love of God by understanding and living the Catholic Faith.
Adult Faith Formation
St. Francis of Assisi Adult Faith offers gathered events, online learning, and other opportunities to grow in faith, including prayer, faith sharing, retreats and discernment sessions, learning and study groups, small group community building, and opportunities to inquire about the Catholic faith or Become Catholic.
The purpose of Alpha is to help bring people into a relationship with Jesus Christ by sharing the good news of the gospel. Alpha sessions include a meal, video, and open discussion. Participants meet for 11 weeks, with a day-long retreat between week 7 and 8. Alpha is open to all adults – invite a friend of any faith or no faith!
We welcome individuals and families who are interested in becoming Catholic and joining our faith community.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS)
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a Montessori-based faith formation program for children ages 3-12.
Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP)
CRHP is an incredible experience that will help you discover what’s missing in your life and what to do about it. Whether you want to connect with others in the parish, improve your prayer life, or just take a break from the craziness of everyday, you’ll find what you’re looking for and more.
FORMED is designed to help adults grow in their faith at all levels – how we think, how we pray, and how we live. Access is free to all St. Francis of Assisi Church parishioners and their families anywhere, anytime on computers, tablets, or phones.
Preparation for Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation is one of the sacraments of initiation, along with Baptism and Eucharist. At. St. Francis preparation for Confirmation typically occurs during the 9th grade year and the Sacrament is received during fall of the 10th grade year.
Prep for First Reconciliation & First Holy Communion
The Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion are typically celebrated during the child’s 2nd grade school year.
St. Francis Preschool
The St. Francis Preschool provides an environment that will nurture and stimulate children, increase each child’s knowledge and understanding of God, surround each child with the feeling of God’s presence, and encourage each child to actively participate in Catholic Christian life.
St. Francis School
As parents, providing your child with an outstanding education, in an environment that fosters the development of their Catholic faith and deepens their love of God, is the most important gift you can give. St. Francis of Assisi School can provide this experience, with rewards that will last your student’s lifetime.
Vacation Bible School
Typically held the last full week in June, children will spend each morning learning the daily Bible point by singing songs, exploring a Bible story, playing games, being imaginative, and learning about their Catholic faith – all while having fun!
Year of St. Joseph
On December 8, 2020, Pope Francis proclaimed a special “Year of Saint Joseph,” extending to the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception on December 8, 2021.
Youth Ministry (Grades 7-12)
Youth Ministry is a program for all 7th-12th grade youth of our parish who attend public, private, and home schools. This is a program where our youth can learn about their faith (small group), find a Catholic community (social), and experience Jesus all while having fun and serving others (service).
