Come to the Table

Come to the Table is a series of classes designed to prepare youth in 3rd - 8th grade for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Communion. Youth and their parents will learn about sacraments, forgiveness, grace, the Mass, Eucharist, the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, and much more. Rite of Sending of the Catechumens to the Bishop

The Rite of Sending marks the second great transition in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), the doorway through which the Catechumens (those to be baptized) pass to enter the Period of Purification and Enlightenment. The Rite of Sending affirms the Catechumens and sends them to the Bishop at St. Ambrose Cathedral later in the day for the Rite of Election.

Sunday, March 15 Update

Bishop Joensen has canceled all Masses throughout the diocese today. All Catholics in the diocese are relieved of the Sunday obligation. We will also be taking the step to cancel all activities on campus today. Thank you for your flexibility as we continue to work through this evolving situation.

Second Scrutiny

The scrutinies demonstrate the growing intensity of Lent, the season of purification and enlightenment. They are opportunities for each of us to spend some time reflecting on what obstacles to gospel living exist in our own lives.
