Lent is a season of preparation—a time to draw closer to Christ through prayer, fasting, and alms giving. In a special way, it is also a season of preparation for the children in our parish who will soon receive Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time.

Our First Communicants have been learning about the great gift of the Eucharist, growing in their understanding of God’s love, and preparing their hearts to encounter Christ more deeply. As they take these final steps toward their First Holy Communion, we invite you to accompany them in prayer.

This Lent, as we reflect on Christ’s sacrifice and His presence in the Eucharist, let us also lift up these young disciples. Pray that they may always hunger for the Bread of Life and grow in faith and love for Jesus. May their journey inspire each of us to renew our devotion to the Eucharist and embrace the call to a deeper communion with Him.
