As we continue the Capital Campaign, my heart yearns for Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament 24/7. Wanting this to happen and making it happen are two different things. To be able to do this, it will require a lot of commitment by many people. In the book, IN SINU JESU, a journal of a priest in prayer, during Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, I read the following which touched me.
“Whenever a special need or intention is entrusted to you, appeal to My Eucharistic Heart. I am moved to pity so often as you appeal to My Eucharistic Heart for it is the living organ of My merciful love and the means by which you obtain from Me all that you ask.”
Even more than this, the Lord told the monk of special graces if Euchartic Adoration attended during the night.
“There are particular graces reserved for souls who keep watch before My Eucharistic Face during the night. Those who pray by night imitate My own night watches of prayer to My Father. How often would I keep vigil in the presence of My Father, conversing with him in the silence of the night and taking up into My prayer the secret cares of a sleeping world and even the groans of creation. You will discover that there is a clarity and peace in nocturnal prayer that I do not give to souls at other times. Those who have discovered this return to Me by night and seek to remain close to My Eucharistic Heart. The light of My Eucharistic face illumines them and the night though it be dark, shines for them inwardly.”
Take some time to spend with our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration. We have it available Monday thru Friday from 6:00 am until 8:00 pm.
